What's the greatest form of intimacy? Is it sleeping next to each other, or is it the ability to sit together in silence? I personally think that sharing your music taste with someone should be up there. Sharing the songs that you feel most connected to, the songs you play when you're sad, and the songs you find yourself playing all the time takes a great about of vulnerability. In this week's post, I'll recount a music exchange I did with a friend, wherein she shared her favorite Mitski songs while I shared my favorite Taylor Swift songs, and the reactions we shared while listening to artists we hadn't listened to before.
