“You’re My Lover:” Songs that Define Being in Love

There are so many great love songs out there and later this week, we're getting a whole album dedicated to it from my favorite artist, Taylor Swift. The release of her single, "Lover," has got me thinking about what it feels like to be in love and how to know when to say those three special words. In this post, I'll be talking about my favorite love songs that define what I'm like when I'm in love.

“Do You Hear the Sea?:” Longing, Connection, and the Hope to Overcome the Ocean Between Them

Great pieces of art transform and adapt over time so that it gives us a new lesson every time we come back to it. “There’s a Missing Piece:” Asian-American Artists on YouTube

Growing up, I didn’t have many Asian American artists to look up to on T.V. and on other forms of media. In this post, I'll be celebrating Asian and Pacific Islander Month, a whole month later, and talk about the Asian American Youtubers that helped define my pride in being Asian.

Here I'll be talking about how being a fan of Yeng's OPM (Original Pilipino Music) connects me to my native culture and increases my use and knowledge of Tagalog.
